Five different ways to cut, copy, paste text

There are five different ways to cut, copy and paste selected text. You may wonder why this would benefit you. Get familiar with the different ways and you will start using them for different purposes. Editing a paragraph in a document, for example, is real easy using the DEL and INSERT keys.
Some of these methods use the mouse. Others use the keyboard (my favorite) which keep your hands in a position to keep typing.
Five different ways to cut text (delete it from the current document and place it on the clipboard). Hit CTRL+X.
  • Use menu Edit | Cut.
  • Hit SHIFT+DEL.
  • Click on the cut quick button on the toolbar, if it exists in the running program.
  • Right click then choose Cut.
Five different ways to copy text (copy it from the document and place it on the clipboard).
  • Hit CTRL+C.
  • Use menu Edit | Copy.
  • Hit CTRL+INSERT.
  • Click on the copy quick button on the toolbar, if it exists in the running program.
  • Right click then choose Copy.
Five different ways to paste text (copy it from the document and place it on the clipboard).
  • Hit CTRL+V.
  • Use menu Edit | Paste.
  • Hit SHIFT+INSERT.
  • Click on the paste quick button on the toolbar, if it exists in the running program.
  • Right click then choose Paste.
