Tip 1 – You are away from home and you want to do some tasks on your
home computer: You can do it by downloading a free version of LogMeIn.
The program works with PC’s and Mac’s. Go to www.logmein.com for the
free download. Select “Products,” then select Logmein free.

According to Tony Bradley, a writer for PCWorld, “the real reason that Macs aren’t plagued by more malware is that the platform represents such negligible market share that it’s not worth the effort for malware developers.” Mac users should be aware that they are exposed to a very dangerous scam called MacDefender or MacProtector, and MacSecurity. Google for MACDEFENDER to get more information and how to remove the malware.

The June 2011 issue of PCWORLD.COM stated that “In late February, 150,000 Gmail users were left in the dark when a glitch deleted all of their email messages and disabled their accounts. Luckily, Google was able to restore the deleted email within a week.” There is a way to backup webmail:

- Click the Start button.
- Type snip .
- Click Snipping Tool .
- Your screen will darken slightly.
- Move your curser over the area you want to copy while holding down the mouse button.
- Release the mouse button and you will see the capture on your screen.
- You can now decide how you want to use the snipped image.
